Instructions
Allow the steaks to rest at room temperature for about 30 minutes before seasoning.
Mix the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, rosemary in a small bowl.
Drizzle the steaks with the olive oil and then sprinkle the steaks on each side with salt and pepper and the homemade seasoning mix.
Preheat the grill to 400-500 degrees
Place the New York strip steaks directly on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side.
Using a meat thermometer, check the internal temperature for your desired doneness. If you want medium rare the internal temp should read 125℉/52℃ or for medium the internal temp should read 135℉/57℃.
